How It Works

We provide all required software and hardware on our school-issued Apple computers (most are laptops), and all are equipped with a wireless card and a CD/DVD drive. Students can successfully complete their classes online using school issued textbooks, email accounts, and our great technical support. We offer reimbursement for your existing Internet service cost or we can provide a dialup Internet account free of charge for school use.

Our instructional staff consists of full-time Pennsylvania certified teachers and counselors who work from our office in Exton. Our teachers are dedicated to their students and have helped them become successful with curriculum based upon the Pennsylvania standards. As evidence of our success, 21CCCS is the only statewide cyber charter school to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for five consecutive years.

Student schedules are flexible, but teachers help their students with organization to maintain consistent progress. We follow a traditional school calendar, however there are no snow days in cyber school. There are no busses to catch early in the morning either!

Most of our high school classes are block scheduled, meaning the students complete the class in one semester. Students typically take three classes at a time, for example math, social studies, and an elective. Our experience has shown that students are more successful when focusing on a few classes rather than juggling six or seven different classes at one time.
